Mahalo for being a part of my #podsquad!
As a token of my appreciation, a way to celebrate the first season, and give back to our local communities here in Hawai’i… I’ve decided to start a program where local businesses can “purchase” ad slots by donating directly to local charities. Read below for details.

Mahalo to our local business partners!

I’ve been REALLY LUCKY… or maybe it’s just being in alignment with my purpose… but without asking for it, my entire graduate school experience and podcast start up costs have been covered financially by money which seemed to fall from the sky.

The Communification Podcast is my way of pursuing a passion, learning and growing alongside my community (all of YOU!), and somehow giving back in whatever small way I can.

We have started to couple your donations to local non-profits with giving local businesses an opportunity to advertise on the podcast!

It’s a limited opportunity. I’ve already dropped five episodes (without ads) and I have six or so episodes left to edit for Season 1: Communication and Technology. I will be adding up to 1 minute of pre-roll ads (an ad that runs right off the top of the show) in :15 or :30 increments to each of these episodes that would live there in perpetuity online wherever you listen to audio. In addition, you would be a sponsor of that episode and shouted out/tagged on my social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram where I get 2 million+ impressions/month, 150k+ reach a month).

All you need to do is donate directly to a local non-profit. Your donation would then be 100% tax deductible, and I wouldn’t have to touch money! Ha ha! I would like at least one of those donations to go to the Maui Food Bank but I’m open to other local nonprofits as well!

I understand that some of you might want to be a part of this but don’t necessarily need an ad slot - you can donate that ad slot to the non-profit and I’m happy to work with the non-profit to develop a read to help them get the word out about the great work that they do for our community.

Suggested donation:

:15 pre-roll - $500 per episode

:30 pre-roll - $1000 per episode

:45 pre-roll - $1500 per episode

1:00 pre-roll - $2000 per episode

*You can donate more too!*

Feel free to share this opportunity with a local business, or local charity that might want to be a part of it. There are limited slots available. Acceptance contingent on being accepted into the program, and available slots.
